Washington’s Innovation Summit 2010

Collaborate. Create. Grow.

Presented by the Washington Technology Center (www.watechcenter.org), Washington’s Innovation Summit 2010 will take place at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center on April 9, 2010 from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.  Dr. Bonnie Dunbar, astronaut and executive director of the Museum of Flight, is one of several keynote speakers who will share examples of collaboration accelerating creativity and innovation.

About Washington’s Innovation Summit 2010

Washington’s Innovation Summit 2010 was first held in 2005.  Each year some 400 CEOs, entrepreneurs, civic and thought leaders, and researchers from across the state gather at the Summit to update each other on the latest opportunities and research. From innovative practices to evolving technologies, and unprecedented discoveries, the event provides an opportunity for attendees to learn about new trends and current applications through case studies and discussions.

The event is structured to encourage attendees to interact with speakers and other leading innovators.  Breakout tracks span Aerospace, Defense and Energy.

Past keynote speakers include Gifford Pinchot, co-founder and President Emeritus of the Bainbridge Graduate Institute; Thomas Plimpton, Vice Chairman of PACCAR; Bob Cremin, CEO of Esterline; and Senator Maria Cantwell. Event attendees span industries and sectors, from startups to established innovators, and have included such organizations as Atlas Accelerator, Ernst & Young, the City of Seattle, Blue Marble, and Philips Healthcare.

Our goal for the event is to enable each attendee to walk away with new contacts, resources and ideas to help build and reinforce the success of her or his enterprise.
